This our big celebration for the year on Bank Holiday Monday and a great afternoon for all the family. We will be using the private woods at the back of the farm shop. **Please park in the field on the right as you drive into the farm shop and not in their customers car park. ** You will find us up the path on the top lefthand side of the field with you back to the road. Timetable is as follows 2.00 pm gates open Goblin Market starts. A Goblin Market is where you can bring anything you want to sell and set it out on a small blanket for any one to buy. You can set up and pack it up when you want. Goods can be anything but realistically should not be selling for more than £20 as people dont carry that much cash 2.15 pm Emily will be organising a quick forage to find a suitable wood to make a wand with followed by a craft session to make said wand and also floral crowns. All materials will be provided and this is suited to kids and kids at heart. 3.00pm Ritual during which the Goblin Market will not trade. There will be a point in the ritual where we will ask if anyone wants to read, recite or sing something seasonal. Please ask if you would like to do something and don't quite know what. We will end this section of the ritual by singing and drumming to Hal an Tow. The words we will use will be published soon but meantime perhaps its a good idea to listen to Damh the Bards version on Youtube to get an idea. Please bring a suitable vessel for the libation - a shot glass is the right size. 4.00pm Trading resumes. Shared Picnic starts. Please bring food to share - one plateful per head is ample. Sandwiches, quiches cakes, sausage rolls, crisps, dips etc are fine. If you have special dietary needs then by all means bring your own not to share food. teas and coffee are provided, soft drinks are not. Please bring your own mugs and plates,. We will have spares if you forget There will be drumming and chanting as the mood takes us. Bring drums, rattles, bells, tambourines etc - even a couple of wooden batons to knock together to make some noise! 5.30 Goblin Market Closes and food is cleared. 5.45 event ends 6.00 we need to be clear of the premises There will be a charge for this event, not more than £5 per person aged 16 or over to cover the hire of the woods.
